Worksite Partnerships

Partnerships with the Karen M. Gil Internship Program establishes worksites for our Gil interns to work at during their internship experience. We have over 60 worksites in our repertoire for interns to work at, all of which specialize in one or multiple program areas (I.e., Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, and Behavioral & Integrative Neuroscience). Our worksites range from private businesses and practices to non-profits and research organizations. Interested in becoming a Worksite?

Is your organization interested in hosting and mentoring interns with an interest in psychology and neuroscience? Are you looking for free help with projects and responsibilities? Look no further as becoming a worksite for our Gil interns seems like the right fit for your organization. Gil interns are a free resource for our worksites as we pay them a monthly stipend, with interns working 9 to 10 hours a week. Interns are hosted on a by-semester schedule (Fall and Spring) and are insured through UNC. Managing a worksite partnership with the Karen M. Gil Internship Program is low maintenance on your part, with over 100% of our worksites stating they greatly benefited from hosting their interns.
